  • 1 gallon water
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 4 cups long grain rice

Directions

    In a 8 quart stock pot, bring a gallon of salted water to a rapid boil.

    Stir in gradually 4 cups of rice and boil for 14 minutes.

    Next drain and rinse in a metal screen colander.

    Now add 2 cups of water to stock pot and bring to boil.
  5. 5
    Now place colander over you steaming stock pot and cover for 5 minutes.
  6. 6
    It will serve up grain for grain.
