Ingredients
- 2 cups poha thin, flattened rice
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 2 potatoes diced
- 1 onion chopped
- 4 curry leaves
- 1 tablespoon mustard seeds
- 1 pinch asafetida
- 4 green chillies chopped
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- salt as per taste
- coriander leaves Chopped, for garnishing
Directions

1Soak poha in water. After 5 minutes drain the water and keep it aside.

2Heat oil in a pan.

3Add mustard seeds, asafetida and curry leaves.

4Add chopped onions and saute till they become translucent.

5Now add potatoes, chillies and turmeric powder.

6Cover the pan and let the potatoes cook.

7After 10 minutes add the soaked poha.

8Add salt and sugar to it.

9If you feel that the poha seems to be bit dry you can sprinkle some water from top.

10Let it cook for 5 minutes.

11Add lemon juice and mix everything well.

12Sprinkle coriander leaves and serve it hot with a slice of lemon.
