- 4 qt. popped corn or more
- 1 1/3 c. pecans (optional)
- 2/3 c. almonds (optional)
- 1/2 c. Karo crystal clear syrup
- 1 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 c. margarine
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Mix popped corn and nuts on a cookie sheet or a large pan. Combine margarine and Karo in a 1 1/2-quart saucepan.

2Bring to a boil over medium heat (234°) for 10 to 15 minutes or until mixture turns light caramel color.

3Remove from heat.

4Stir in vanilla. Pour over popped corn and nuts.

5Mix to coat well; spread to dry. Break apart and store in tightly covered container.

6Makes about 2 pounds.
