  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 lb. butter
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 1/2 pt. sour cream or evaporated milk

Directions

    Mix flour and butter like pastry; add beaten yolks and cream; work until dough is smooth.

    Roll into long rolls as for icebox box cookies.

    Chill in refrigerator for at least 24 hours (couple of days is better).

    Cut into 1/2-inch slices.

    Cut these into four pieces and roll in palm of hands into balls.

    Put on slightly floured board and roll each paper thin.
  7. 7
    Fill with following nut filling.
