- 48 medium tomatoes
- 2 ripe red peppers
- 2 ripe green peppers
- 4 onions
- 3 c. vinegar
- 3 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. salt
- 3 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp. red pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp. allspice
- 1 1/2 tsp. whole clove
- 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon stick, broken
Directions

1Quarter tomatoes; remove stems.

2Cut pepper into strips. Slice onions.

3Blend in blender until soft.

4Pour in large pot. Add vinegar, sugar, salt, mustard, red pepper and spice wrapped in a spice cloth.

5Simmer in a slow oven on 325° until shrinks in half.

6Remove spice cloth.

7Pour into hot jars.

8Process 10 minutes.

9Makes 5 pints.

10Cook in oven approximately 7 more hours.
