Ingredients

  • 6 to 7 lamb kidneys
  • 2 Tbsp. bacon fat
  • 1 big onion, chopped
  • 1/4 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 bouillon cube
  • 1 medium potato
  • 2 small carrots
  • dash of curry
  • dash of nutmeg
  • 2 drops Tabasco

Directions

    Skin and slice kidneys fine; soak in salted water (2 tablespoons) for 1/2 hour.

    Drain; soak 5 minutes in fresh water. Drain.
