- 2/3 c. sugar
- 3/4 lb. butter or margarine
- 1 1/2 c. almonds, ground fine (do not remove skins)
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 4 c. flour
Directions

1Cream sugar and butter until light and fluffy.

2Add vanilla and beat.

3Add almonds and mix well.

4Add flour and mix well. Roll dough into little balls the size of first finger.

5Form into a crescent shape.

6Lay on ungreased baking sheet so they do not touch.

7Bake at 325° for 25 minutes.

8These cookies will be white so do not bake any longer.
-
9While cookies are still warm, roll into powdered sugar.
