- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. chicken base
- 6 eggs
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 potatoes, diced
- celery leaves
- 1 gal. plus 1 c. milk
- 1/4 lb. butter
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 5 c. flour
- bay leaves
Directions

1To half gallon water add bay leaves, celery leaves and potatoes.

2Boil about 15 minutes.

3Add 1 gallon milk, butter, onion, chicken base and salt and pepper to taste.

4Cook until onions are tender.
