- 1 head cabbage, cut fine
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
Directions

1Fill a quart fruit jar 1 inch from the top with cabbage.

2Add salt and sugar.

3Fill jar to half with real hot water.

4Put lid on jar but not on tight.

5Set jar in pan so when it ferments, it will run into the pan.

6Let set for 3 days.

7Put enough water in to cover the kraut, ready to eat in 4 days.
