Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. whipping cream (do not whip)
  • 1 c. milk
  • salt
  • 4 1/2 c. sifted flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder for each c. flour

Directions

    Mix all ingredients well.

    Refrigerate overnight (makes for easier handling).

    Take 1 rounded teaspoonful of dough and roll into the shape of a pencil (about 5 to 6-inches long), then shape into a figure 8 or whatever shape you desire.

    Bake at 375° for 10 minutes (no longer).

    They will look light in color.
