- 1 box Duncan Hines cake mix (or other)
- 3/4 c. butter or margarine (1 1/2 sticks)
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 (21 oz.) can fruit pie filling
- 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 beaten egg
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Preheat oven at 350°.

2In bowl add butter and, with pastry blender or two knives, cut into mixture until it is in fine crumbs.

3Pat it gently into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

4Bake at 350° for 5 minutes until pale gold.

5Combine pie filling and juice; spoon evenly over crumb layer to within 1/2-inch

6of edges.

7Beat together sour cream, sugar, egg and vanilla.

8Drizzle over pie filling, covering most of it.

9Bake 20 minutes and cool.

10Store in refrigerator.

11Remove 30 minutes before serving.
