Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 large jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1 small can tomato paste
  • 1 chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 chopped onion
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1 (8 oz.) can mushrooms
  • 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 large box lasagna noodles

Directions

    Cook lasagna noodles as directed on package; drain.

    Brown ground beef; drain off excess fat.

    Combine ground beef, spaghetti sauce, tomato paste, green pepper, onion, salt, pepper, sugar and oregano in large bowl; stir well.

    Spoon a little sauce in bottom of greased baking dish or pan.

    Place a layer of noodles and a layer of sauce until all used.

    Cover; bake in preheated 350° oven for 45 minutes.

    Remove.

    Put mushrooms and Mozzarella cheese on top; bake 10 to 15 minutes longer, uncovered.
