  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 2 (1 lb.) cans tomatoes, chopped (undrained)
  • salt, pepper and garlic to taste
  • 1/4 tsp. sugar
  • 1 (16 oz.) carton cottage cheese
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagna noodles
  • 24 oz. Mozzarella cheese

Directions

    Brown and drain ground beef and season to taste.

    Add tomato paste and tomatoes.

    Cover and simmer 20 minutes.

    Cook noodles according to package directions.

    In 9 x 13 pan, alternate layers of sauce, noodles and cheese, beginning and ending with sauce. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

    Cool slightly before serving.
