- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 tsp. salt
- garlic
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 c. canned tomatoes
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 lb. lasagna noodles, cooked
- 1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 c. cottage cheese
- 1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Season meat with salt and pepper and brown.

2Add garlic, onion and pepper. Simmer slowly, uncovered, for 10 minutes.

3Stir in tomatoes and tomato sauce; cover and simmer. Pour 1/3 of meat sauce into a 12 x 8-inch baking dish.

4Cover with strips of lasagna noodles.

5Add Mozzarella, Cheddar and spoonfuls of cottage cheese.

6Repeat layers, ending with meat sauce.

7Top with Parmesan cheese.

8Bake for 1 hour at 350°.
