  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 2 1/2 c. tomatoes
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 2 pkg. spaghetti sauce mix
  • 2 (12 oz.) cans V-8 juice
  • 2 (10 oz.) pkg. lasagna noodles
  • 1 (12 oz.) carton cottage cheese
  • 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese
  • 2 (4 oz.) pkg. grated Romano or Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Cook meat until brown.

    Add tomatoes, sauce, spaghetti mix and V-8 juice.

    Bring to a boil; turn stove down and simmer 10 minutes. Grease pan 17 x 9 x 4-inch.

    Cover with uncooked noodles and add a layer of meat sauce.

    Dot with cottage cheese.

    Use half the Mozzarella cheese.

    Repeat layers.

    Pour all remaining sauce on top.

    Sprinkle with Romano or Parmesan cheese.
