- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 Tbsp. basil
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. lasagna noodles
- 2 (12 oz.) cartons (3 c.) creamed cottage cheese
- 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, sliced thin
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Brown meat; drain off excess fat.

2Add basil, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, tomato sauce and paste. Simmer until thick.

3Cook noodles, drain and rinse.

4Combine cottage cheese, eggs, 1 teaspoon salt, pepper and Parmesan cheese.

5Place half of noodles in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

6Spread half of cheese mixture over noodles, half of Mozzarella and half of meat mixture.

7Repeat layers.

8Bake in 375° oven for 30 minutes.

9Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
