  • 2 lb. hamburg
  • 1 large can whole tomatoes
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 2 envelopes spaghetti sauce mix
  • 2 (12 oz. each) cans V-8 cocktail juice
  • 1 pkg. lasagna noodles
  • 1 large carton small curd cottage cheese
  • 3 pkg. shredded Mozzarella cheese

Directions

    Cook meat and chop tomatoes; stir in tomatoes, sauce, sauce mix and V-8 juice.

    Bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

    Oil lightly a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

    Place a thin layer of meat sauce, layer of uncooked noodles, cottage cheese and Mozzarella cheese.

    Start over, finishing with meat sauce.

    Cover with heavy duty aluminum foil.

    Seal edges.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

    Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
