- 1 lb. ground chuck
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. salad or olive oil
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 3 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 8 oz. lasagna noodles
- 1 small box cottage cheese
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. sweet basil
- 1 pkg. dry spaghetti mix
- grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2In large, heavy pan mix ground chuck in hot oil.

3Saute onion and garlic until brown.

4Add tomato paste and sugar.

5Fry for a few more minutes and add water and other ingredients, except Parmesan cheese and lasagna noodles.

6In separate pan, cook lasagna noodles in hot salted water; when done remove from fire, drain and rinse until cooled.

7Add 1 layer noodles and layer of sauce.

8Continue until all is used.

9Add the cheese to top.

10Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes.

11Serve.
