  • 1/2 lb. ground sausage
  • 1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes
  • 1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 1 small jar or can sliced mushrooms
  • 2 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 2 tsp. oregano leaves
  • 1 1/2 tsp. basil leaves
  • 2 c. creamed cottage cheese
  • 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 3 (4 oz.) pkg. shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 12 oz. lasagne noodles, cooked, well drained
  • 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese

    noodles, meat sauce, remaining Mozzarella cheese and cottage cheese mixture. Spread reserved meat sauce over top.
