- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1 (48 oz.) jar Ragu spaghetti sauce
- 1 large green pepper, chopped
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 small pkg. lasagne
- 2 lb. Ricotta cheese
- 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese, shredded or sliced
- 1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Directions

1In a large heavy pan, brown beef, onion and pepper in oil. Add spaghetti sauce, sugar, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Simmer for 1 hour.

2In a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan, spread about 1 cup of sauce.

3Alternate layers of lasagne, sauce, Ricotta cheese, Mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese, ending with sauce, Mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese.

4Bake at 350°
