Ingredients

  • 1 small head lettuce, torn
  • 1/2 medium head cauliflower, cut into small flowerets
  • 1/2 large green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 to 4 stalks celery, chopped
  • 4 to 5 slices bacon, fried and finely crumbled
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen English peas, thawed
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 c. mayo
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar

Directions

    Layer lettuce, then other fresh veggies in a large bowl.

    Layer the peas and dressing (2 cups mayo and 2 tablespoons sugar).

    Top with cheese.

    Cover; allow to chill overnight.

    Add bacon just before tossing.
