  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. lard
  • 1/2 to 2/3 c. milk
  • leftover meat (pork, sausage, beef, lamb, chicken, turkey, etc.)
  • leftover vegetables (corn, peas, carrots, spinach, etc.)
  • mushrooms, parsley, onion
  • cheese
  • cornstarch

Directions

    Mix dough by stirring together flour, baking powder and salt. Cut in lard until the mixture has a fine grainy appearance.

    Try not to handle the dough too much.

    Add milk and blend all together.

    Roll out the dough in a circle if you want to make a crescent or a rectangle if you want to roll it up.
