- 1 c. soft butter or margarine
- 2 1/4 c. plain flour
- 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 2 c. granulated sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
Directions

1Mix butter, 2 cups flour and 1/2 cup powdered sugar together. Pat in bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes. Sift granulated sugar, 1/4 cup flour and baking powder together. Add eggs and lemon juice.

2Mix until smooth. Spread over crust. Bake 25 minutes longer.

3Let cool 10 minutes, then frost.
