  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 1 Medium Shallot, Chopped Very Fine (about 1/4 Cup)
  • 1/4 teaspoons Ground Sea Salt
  • 1/8 teaspoons Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • 2 cans (16 Oz. Size) Garbanzo Beans (chickpeas), Rinsed And Drained
  • 2 Tablespoons Chopped Fresh Tarragon
  • 1/4 cups Toasted Pine Nuts
  • 1-1/2 Tablespoon Fresh Lemon Juice

Directions

    In a medium skillet, add olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add shallots and cook for 2-3 minutes, until shallots are soft. Add sea salt, black pepper and chickpeas. Heat for 5 minutes or until warm, stirring occasionally.

    Remove from heat and stir in tarragon, pine nuts and lemon juice. Serve warm.
