Lemon Cream Sauce

Ingredients

  • 3 egg yolks (or 3 eggs)
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. oleo
  • juice and grated rind of 2 lemons
  • 1 1/4 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. whipping cream (optional)

Directions

    Cook in double boiler until thickened.

    When cooled, add cream, if used.

    Use over fruit.

    Good with bananas, apples, pineapple, grapes, kiwi and nuts.
