- 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. orange juice or apricot nectar
- 3/4 c. oil
- 2 tsp. lemon extract
- 4 eggs
Directions

1Heat oven to 325°.

2Generously grease and lightly flour a 12-cup fluted tube pan.

3In large bowl, blend all ingredients at low speed until moistened.

4Beat 3 minutes at medium speed.

5Pour batter into prepared pan.

6Bake for 40 to 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

7Prick deeply every inch with long-tined fork.

8Spoon half of glaze over hot cake in pan.

9Let stand 10 minutes.

10Invert onto serving plate.

11Spoon remaining glaze over cake.
