- 6 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 large (or 2 small) lemons, grated
- 1/2 c. sugar
Directions

1After grating lemons, juice lemons and save separately. Preheat oven to 325°.

2Cream together sugar and butter.

3Add beaten eggs and blend well.

4Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.

5Stir into the egg mixture alternately with milk.

6Stir in the lemon rind.

7Beat well.

8Pour into greased loaf pan and bake for 45 minutes. (Note:
