- 1 tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 tbsp. dry mustard
- 1-1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 cup water
- 2 md. eggs
- 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 tbsp. white vinegar
- 2 tbsp. sugar
Directions

1Combine cornstarch, mustard, and salt in the top of a double boiler.

2Combine water and beaten eggs.

3Slowly add to cornstarch mixture, stirring constantly, until smooth.

4cook over simmering water for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

5Very slowly stir in the lemon juice and vinegar.

6continue cooking and stirring over simmering water for 10 more minutes.

7Remove from heat.

8Add sugar; mix well.

9Pour into a pint jar, cover, and store in refrigerator.

10Stir well before each use.
