  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice or 1 lemon
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 eggs yolks (save whites)
  • 1 9-inch pie shell (baked)

Directions

    In a double boiler heat all ingredients. Pour into pie shell. For the meringue beat egg whites to a stiff peak. Put on top of pie. Bake at 250° until meringue is browned.
