- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 3 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. fresh lemon juice
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. lemon peel, grated
- 6 large eggs
- 3 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. vanilla

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Grease and flour 10-inch angel food cake pan.

3Cream the butter.

4Add the cream cheese; beat until fluffy. Add sugar; beat 3 minutes.

5Add lemon juice, vanilla and lemon peel.

6Add eggs, 2 at a time; beat until combined.

7Add flour and salt; beat until smooth and creamy.

8Bake about 1 1/2 hours.
