  • 1 cup dried lentils
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 4 -5 white mushrooms, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons dried coriander
  • 1 12 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 12 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons tomato sauce (any kind, or pasta sauce)
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1 dash pepper

Directions

    Cook lentils according to directions with the bay leaf.

    Drain lentils and let cool.

    Combine all ingredients, mashing lentils with fingers.

    Form into balls and place in oiled pan.

    Bake @ 350 for 20-30 minutes.
