- 2 c. milk, warmed
- 5 tsp. yeast or 2 packets
- 5 Tbsp. melted margarine
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 heaping Tbsp. sugar
- 3 1/2 c. bread flour
Directions

1Sprinkle yeast over warm milk.

2Add sugar.

3Set aside to grow. In bowl, combine bread flour and salt.

4Add milk mixture and melted margarine, stirring to mix.

5Turn out on floured surface and knead hard for 8 minutes until smooth and elastic.

6Put into a greased bowl.

7Cover and let rise until dough is doubled.

8(An ovenproof bowl filled with hot water in oven along with the dough is a good place for the dough to rise.

9Put the oven on warm before placing the dough there.

10Turn oven off to let rise.)
