  • 7 oz. shredded coconut
  • 1/4 c. melted butter
  • 1 pkg. (3 oz.) lemon gelatin
  • 1 1/4 c. grape juice
  • 1 pt. softened vanilla ice cream
  • whipped cream and chopped nuts for garnish

Directions

    Spread coconut on a cookie sheet and bake at 325° until light brown.

    Put into bowl and toss with melted butter.

    Spread lightly over bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie plate.

    Do not press.

    Cool for 1 hour or more in refrigerator.
