Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. beef liver
  • 1/2 c. soup or broth
  • pinch of pepper
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 1 c. fine bread crumbs
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped chives or parsley
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. grated onion
  • 1 small clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 c. flour

Directions

    Using a blender, chop or grind liver.

    Combine crumbs and liquid.

    Add slightly beaten eggs and other ingredients.

    Shape into small balls the size of large marbles.

    Drop into boiling soup or broth.

    Cook 10 minutes.
