  • Empty shells of 2 lobsters
  • 2 1/2 c. chicken soup (preferably home made)
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 ribs celery, with leaves
  • 2 whole cloves
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 6 peppercorns
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 4 Tbsp. flour
  • 3 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
  • paprika
  • dash of red food coloring

    When boiling, add the stock, then 1/4 cup cut-up lobster meat.
