  • 1 bowlful per serving Plain cooked rice
  • 2 small Onions
  • 500 grams Combined ground beef and pork
  • 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1 Salt and pepper
  • 50 ml Panko
  • 50 ml Milk
  • 1 Egg
  • 100 ml Sake
  • 50 ml Ketchup
  • 50 ml Japanese Worcestershire-style Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Japanese mustard
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 for garnish Broccoli
  • 1 for garnish Lettuce
  • 1 for garnish Cherry tomatoes
  • 1 for garnish Cucumber
  • 1 per serving Eggs

Directions

    Chop the onion finely, season with salt and pepper and stir-fry until caramelized.

    Cut the vegetables up into bite-sized pieces.

    Add the cooked onion and the ingredients in a bowl and mix well until sticky.

    Form into patties and pan fry.

    When both sides are browned, put a lid on and steam-fry over low heat.

    Put the sauce ingredients (sake, ketchup, Worcestershire-style sauce, mustard, sugar) in a pan and simmer over medium heat until it has thickened slightly.
