- 4 oz. lean ground beef
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (8 oz.) can lower sodium tomato sauce
- 1 (6 oz.) can lower sodium tomato paste
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. dried basil, crushed
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 4 lasagna noodles
- 1 slightly beaten egg white
- 1 c. nonfat Ricotta cheese
- 1/2 c. part skim Mozzarella cheese
- 2 tsp. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp. parsley, snipped
Directions

1Sauce:

2Cook meat, onion and garlic until meat is brown. Drain off fat.

3Stir in tomato sauce, paste, water, basil, salt and pepper.

4Bring to a boil and reduce heat.

5Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
