  • 100 lumpia skins
  • 1 egg, separated
  • pinch of allspice
  • dash of salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1/3 c. soy sauce
  • 1/3 c. stir-fry sauce
  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 5 medium carrots
  • 1 large green pepper
  • 1/2 lb. bean sprouts
  • 1 bundle green onions
  • 2 large handfuls green beans
  • oil (for frying)

Directions

    Fry ground beef until brown and drain.

    Finely chop the vegetables.

    Mix together ground beef, vegetables, egg yolk, allspice, salt, pepper, soy sauce and stir-fry sauce.

    Put about a heaped tablespoonful of mixture into each lumpia skin.

    Wrap according to directions and seal with egg white.

    Fry in oil on each side until golden brown.
