  • 2 Tbsp. yeast
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/2 c. water
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. shortening
  • flour

Directions

    Combine ingredients and let dough rise 45 min.

    Use butter and cornmeal to coat buns.

    Cut top of buns when they have risen 1/2 an hour.

    Let rise a little longer, then bake at 400°F until nicely browned.
