- 2 c. macaroni
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 2 c. milk
- about 3/4 lb. Velveeta
Directions

1Cook macaroni until tender, drain.

2Place in ungreased 2-quart or layer casserole.

3Make white sauce by melting butter.

4Don't scorch, melt over low heat, stirring in flour to make paste. Slowly add milk so not to lump, stirring constantly (turn off heat while you stir).

5Cut cheese into chunks and add to sauce.

6Cook over medium heat.

7Stir to keep from burning.

8Pour over macaroni. Bake at 350° to 375° for 45 minutes.
