- 1 1/2 c. dry macaroni
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- pepper
- 2 c. milk
- 10 oz. pkg. New York sharp Cheddar cheese
- 12 Ritz crackers, crushed
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 lb. domestic ham, diced
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Cook macaroni and drain.

3Melt 3 tablespoons butter.

4Blend in flour, salt and pepper.

5Add milk. Cook and stir until thick and bubbly.

6Add cheese and stir until melted.

7Put macaroni, diced ham and cheese mixture into a casserole dish.

8Melt 2 tablespoons butter and add to Ritz crackers.

9Spread cracker mixture on top.

10Bake 20 to 30 minutes, uncovered.
