- 2 c. uncooked corkscrew macaroni
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can whole tomatoes
- 3/4 c. shredded Cheddar or sharp cheese
- 3/4 c. chopped green pepper
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 (3 oz.) can French fried onions
Directions

1Cook macaroni as directed on package.

2Drain.

3Brown ground beef and drain fat.

4Combine all ingredients except onions.

5Pour into greased 2-quart casserole.

6Cover and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

7Uncover and top with French fried onions.

8Bake 5 minutes longer.

9Serves 4 to 6.
