Macaroni Fruit Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. small macaroni rings
  • 1/2 c. lemon juice
  • 2 c. powdered sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 (16 oz.) can pineapple tidbits, drained (save juice)
  • 1 (16 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained (save juice)
  • 1 pt. whipping cream
  • fresh strawberries and bananas

Directions

    Cook macaroni rings according to directions.

    Cook drained juices from fruit with lemon juice, sugar and eggs until thick. Add pineapple and oranges.

    Pour sauce over macaroni and refrigerate 12 hours.

    When ready to serve, add 1 pint whipped whipping cream.

    Add strawberries and bananas on top.
