  • 1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 c. butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 14 ounce. can sweetened condensed lowfat milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/4 c. coconut
  • 1 c. minced nuts

    Heat oven to 350 degrees.

    Grease a 13x9-inch pan.

    In a large mixing bowl combine the cake mix, softened butter and 1 egg.

    Mix at low speed till well combined.

    Mix will be crumbly.

    Press proportionately into the bottom of the greased pan.

    In a smaller bowl, combine the condensed lowfat milk, vanilla and egg and beat till smooth.

    Stir in 1 c. of the coconut and the nuts; pour mix over crust.

    Sprinkle remaining 1/4 c. coconut over top.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 min or possibly till golden.

    Cold completely.
