  • Ice
  • 2 ounces Mezcal
  • 1/2 ounce Benedictine (brandy-based herbal liqueur)
  • 3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 ounce orgeat (almond-flavored syrup)
  • 1/2 large egg white
  • Pinch of freshly grated nutmeg and 1 orange twist, for garnish

Directions

    Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.

    Add all of the remaining ingredients except the garnishes and shake well.

    Strain into an ice-filled rocks glass and garnish with the grated nutmeg and orange twist.
