- 2 peeled ripe mango, cut into 4 wedges (about 1 3/4 pound)

1Place mango wedges in a vegetable steamer. Steam, covered, 8 minutes or until very tender.

2Place mango in a food processor; process until smooth. Strain using a sieve or food mill; discard solids.

3Cooking Liquid Fruits puree well because of their high water content. For most of these purees, you usually won't need to add more water, but we've suggested you save the cooking liquid until you puree the fruit just in case you need to thin it.
