Mango & Avocado Salsa

Ingredients

  • 1/2 red onion finely diced
  • 1 avocado chopped (not chopped too small)
  • 1 juice of 1 lime
  • 1 Mango chopped
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 salt to taste if desired
  • 1/2 jalapeno finely diced (deseeded)

Directions

    Add all ingredients into a bowl, except avocado and mix.

    Add the avocado last and lightly fold into the salsa.

    I do this so I don't overwork the avocado and to keep the chunks whole.

    Chill for atleast 30 min or serve immediately.

    Some people just prefer chilled salsa over room temperature.

    Serve with tortilla chips or layer over a nice piece of fresh fish!

    Sometimes I add corn to this salsa, about a half cup.
