- 1 cup Pure Maple Syrup, Grade A Amber
- 2 Tablespoons Butter, Unsalted
- 1/2 cups Orange Juice
- 2 Tablespoons Bourbon (optional)
- 1 teaspoon Ground Ancho Chile
- 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
- 1/4 teaspoons Sweet Paprika
- 1/4 teaspoons Ground Ginger
- 1/4 teaspoons Ground Cayenne
- 1/8 teaspoons Smoked Paprika
- 1/8 teaspoons Cinnamon
Directions

1Heat the syrup and butter in a medium sauce pan over medium heat. When the butter is melted, add the remaining ingredients.

2Bring just to a boil then reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer 10 minutes.

3Remove from the heat and let cool.

4Brush on the carnage of your choice (I recommend pork or turkey) just a minute or two before you take it off the grill.
