  • 1 cup Pure Maple Syrup, Grade A Amber
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter, Unsalted
  • 1/2 cups Orange Juice
  • 2 Tablespoons Bourbon (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Ancho Chile
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoons Sweet Paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoons Ground Ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoons Ground Cayenne
  • 1/8 teaspoons Smoked Paprika
  • 1/8 teaspoons Cinnamon

Directions

    Heat the syrup and butter in a medium sauce pan over medium heat. When the butter is melted, add the remaining ingredients.

    Bring just to a boil then reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer 10 minutes.

    Remove from the heat and let cool.

    Brush on the carnage of your choice (I recommend pork or turkey) just a minute or two before you take it off the grill.
