Maple Ice Cream Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 c. chocolate wafer crumbs (about 23 cookies)
  • 3 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 2 (7 1/2 oz.) jars marshmallow cream
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 pt. vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
  • 1 tsp. maple extract
  • 1 (8 oz.) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • additional frozen whipped topping, chocolate curls and maraschino cherry (for garnish, if you wish)

Directions

    In a small bowl, combine crumbs and butter.

    Press into bottom of a 9-inch spring-form pan.

    In mixer bowl, beat marshmallow cream and sour cream until well blended.

    Add ice cream, walnuts and maple extract; beat well.

    Fold in whipped topping.

    Pour into prepared pan.

    Cover and freeze overnight, or until needed.
