Maple-Nut Ice Cream

  • 4 c. milk
  • 2 (3 3/4 oz.) pkg. instant butterscotch pudding
  • 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 pt. (4 c.) half and half
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. maple flavoring
  • 4 well-beaten eggs
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

    In a large bowl combine milk and pudding mix.

    Beat 2 minutes until well blended.

    Refrigerate about 5 minutes.

    Add sugar, half and half, maple flavoring and eggs to pudding mix until well blended.

    Stir in nuts.

    Pour into freezer can.

    Refrigerate until ready to serve.

    Makes 3 quarts or 24 (1/2 cup) servings.
